VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Junior Officer - IT Operator for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill Set required:
•        Willingness to work different shifts
•        Experience in User support on various applications
•        Experience in vendor coordination.
•        Experience of administration on Windows, and at least one Unix OS.
•        Experience in monitoring application and systems for maximum uptime
•        Experience in backups/archival process.
•        Should be degree in computer science or equivalent with minimum of 3 years experience in IT support or operations.
•        Should be a MSCE/ MCP on Windows 2000/2003. Experience on one of the Unix flavours would be an added advantage.
•        Experience on Operation, Application, Monitoring will be a great advantage.
Responsibilities:
•        To work in shifts for a 24x7 functional unit.
•        To monitor all the servers and applications in the Data Centre and ensure maximum uptime as per the service window specified.
•        To monitor all the channels (Middleware, ATMs, IVR, SMS, etc) on a 24x7 basis and ensure maximum uptime.
•        To carry out End of Day Operational activities for various applications in the Data Centre. T24 UAE, T24 Kazakh, HPS, Collection, AML.
•        Responsible for taking backups / archival of information data as per the checklist & policies laid down.
•        To support the users within IT Unit on various applications that include but not limited to
a.        Operating Systems
b.        Databases
c.        Web Servers
d.        Applications
e.        Networking devices
f.        Security Appliances
•        Generate MIS reports on daily basis and forward to concern team
•        Upload & download various reports as per the Checklist and forward to Concern Department
•        Monitor all daily schedule backup and ensure the operation and forward the copy of Backup tape to Offsite location
•        Execute weekly and monthly tasks as per the Schedule for required Applications.
•        Upload and download different files / logs and forward to concern team.
•        Provide production first level support for Application support team wherever needed.

Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month)
