Job description:
The ESTP is an entry-level training and development program for talented university graduates interested in a career in the international transportation industry. It is designed to attract and develop such promising individuals within the context of the local / regional business environment. Hence the specific developmental interventions may vary somewhat in the different regions. It is very important that you learn quickly and thoroughly during your developmental assignments and that you take on as many of the tasks assigned to you. Initiative counts for a lot, you will be exposed to key functional areas of NOL in your home region. For the most part of the time, your learning will come from “handson” activities in the job you are assigned to. Your progress during the entire program will be measured by formal appraisal and feedback processes, such as periodic assessments, written reports, functional manager/ supervisor / mentor feedback and evaluations by course instructors. It is very important to ensure that reports and assessment forms are completed and submitted in a timely fashion to your respective managers.
Program Administration:
1. The program is coordinated and managed at a country level by appointed Country HR personnel.
2. Your functional manager/ supervisor will be directly responsible for your development and on-the-job training during your assignments.
3. A mentor will be appointed to provide you guidance and good counsel for the duration of your assignment at a given location.
4. Notice period preferred to be 1 month.
5. Recruitment process including tests.
