Job description:

The ideal candidate should have the following qualities:

-        An extensive knowledge of 2d and 3d animation, storyboarding and multimedia authoring skills.
-        Knowledge in user centered design and profound Knowledge of computer packages such as Adobe Flash, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Maya 3D, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere.
-        Understand the programming languages such as PHP, ASP, ActionScript 2 or 3, and MySQL.
-        An extensive knowledge with video editing, 3D modeling and lighting, Sound Editing, Print Design.
-        Minimum 4 years of experience in similar role.
-        Highly Creative, self-motivated, independent, responsive and flexible

Skills:

Skills & Responsibilities:

-        Establish the look and qualities of characters, props and environment for an animation film, from 2D design/storyboard reference into 3D.
-        Produce the textures, colors and organic surface qualities required in the completion of creatures and objects.
-        Troubleshoot creative and technical issues as they arise.
-        Demonstrate versatility in their ability to create a wide range of surfaced looks from man made, natural to stylized surfaces.
-        Create surfaced look that aligns with the artistic design/style of film; interpret art reference/art direction.
-        Work very closely with the texture painters and rigging team to generate models that are suitable for the project.
-        Work closely with the lead Modeller to determine the best approach (detail level etc) on any given model.

Qualifications:

-        A University Degree on art and design or multimedia.
