Job description:

This role could give you the chance to position yourself in a successful, modern company and be working with some of the best machinery available. Our client is offering an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to take the reins and become a valued Plant Manager.

The successful applicant will be in charge of the operations and maintenance at the plant and is trusted with a high level of responsibility. They will ensure maintenance of a safe working environment for all employees, the environmental control and technical aspects of all projects and operations at the state of the art factory.


You will have coveted managerial responsibilities such as the preparation on the annual operating budget for the Board of Directors and the recommendation of capital spending projects for upgrading and improving site assets.


You are a leader and provide direction for the team at the plant to achieve their targets working closely with the General Manager of the company. This is a varied role which will also include reviewing the quality of the cement, maintaining International standards and reacting to changes in the market and their requirements.

Skills:

The ideal candidate has:
15 Years experience in the Cement industry
5 Years experience as a Plant/ Factory Manager in the Cement Industry
A degree in Engineering
