Offshore Crane Operator

Duties

As the ideal candidate for this position you will be required to supervise 3 or more
workers when performing duties,the crane operator directs the Roustabouts as
necessary to support on-going rig operations. The crane operator must ensure all
operations are proceeding in a safe manner, and correct or notify responsible person
of any unsafe actions and/or conditions. Inform the Rig Manager or Barge Engineer
prior to any equipment/weight move.Ensure correct hand signals used for crane
operations. Responsible for rigging and moving of equipment and materials.Ensure all
deck / equipment maintenance areas are kept clean and all tools are properly stored
or racked in designated areas at all times.Inspect the cranes daily and lubricate as
required by the maintenance manual. coordinate maintenance on all tanks, e.g. water,
cement, ballast and mud.

Qualifications
Must be experienced in offshore drilling operations
Must be certified as a crane operator
Must have at least 2 Years experience,

Must be able to perform the following actions:lifting and loading of a new pipe
section in the pipeline installation frame
