Linux Systems Engineer :RMS

Job description:

A Linux systems engineer to perform the daily operation and maintenance and routinely tasks that holds high skills and knowledge in the following areas:

• Advanced experience in administrating, designing, installing, identifying and correcting UNIX-based operating system issues (UNIX based OS includes but not limited to Red Hat, Debian, and their variants such as CentOS, Fedora, Ubuntu).
• Advanced experience in hardware repair and replacement, including but not limited to servers, RAID, SAN, NAS, Tape libraries, memory, HBA.
• Advanced experience in Internet and Network services and servers, including but limited to: domain servers, DNS, Web server, FTP servers, Email servers, NTP, NNTP, SNMP).
• Advanced experience in database and directory services, including but not limited to MySQL, PostgreSQL, and OpenLDAP.
• Advanced experience in high-availability solutions such as clustering and Qmail.
• Advanced experience in systems security best practice.
• Advanced experience in Anti-virus products including but not limited to McAfee, Symantec.


All experts must have a minimum of the following requirements:

• English language proficiency.
• At least five years advanced experience in the specified field.
• Education and training in the specified field.
• Excellent background in the specified field security issues, including but limited to vulnerabilities assessments, patching, auditing, logging and other security related tasks as needed.
