Insurance Dept. Manager
Key Accountabilities:
____________________
1. Ensures the adequate sourcing and administration of the company insurance coverage
2. Coordinates with the Risk Management Department Manager for assessing risk exposure and the required insurance coverage
3. Identifies suitable insurers, negotiates with them, and secures the right insurance policies
4. Administers The company insurance policies (renewals, amendments, cancellations, insurance claims, payment of premiums, record keeping, etc.)
5. Interfaces with the company work units, insurers and other related 3rd parties (insurance brokers, providers of medical services, Third Party Administrators, claim settlers, repair workshops, etc.) for operational issues related to insurance (obtaining, renewing, and amending insurance coverage, processing insurance claims, etc.)
6. Tracks and monitors The companyinsurance risk exposure and claims track record
7. Develops and institutionalizes the company insurance data, know-how, and capabilities
8. Identifies and tracks KPIs for the Insurance Department, and devises plans and initiatives for improvement
9. Provides support for the professional development (including training) of direct reports: staff and managers
