Enforcement Systems Engineer:RMS

Job description:

Standard Requirements        • Responsible for reviewing and approving enforcement system design, implementation and testing
        
Primary Function:        To monitor, verify and validate the proper technical execution of investor obligations related to traffic enforcement installations (camera systems to detect speed violation & red light violation).
Qualifications:        BSc in Electrical Engineering
Skills & Knowledge:        •Testing of technical installations.
        • Calibration of measurement equipment
        • Certification processes
        • Principles of Traffic Enforcement systems
        • Principles of software for Number Plate recognition
Experience:        • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the field of ITS.
        • At least two years demonstrable experience with camera systems.
        • At least two years demonstrable experience with the measurement systems
        • At least two years demonstrable experience with the installation of ITS systems
        • At least two years experience with testing and validation of measurement systems (preferably Traffic Enforcement Systems).
        • Acquainted with the legal aspects of the installation of Traffic Enforcement Systems.
Personal Qualities:        • Good communications skills
        • Adaptability, team work & focuses on results.
        • Ability to relocate / travel to rural areas frequently
        • Arabic speaking candidates preferable
Duties & Responsibilities:        • Monitor the installation process of the Enforcement Systems in the region.
        • Steer the Site Supervision Team
        • Maintains technical communication with his counterpart on the side of the regional investor.
        • Ensures that the technical documentation of each Enforcement installation is of good quality and delivered according to the agreed documentation standards.
        • Report progress & issues to the Regional Technical Lead
        • Work closely with: Counterpart on the side of the regional investor, Regional Project Management Specialist, Technical Manager, Traffic Management Systems Engineer.
