Position Summary
Assists the supervisor, cardiac cath. Laboratory with planning and coordination of catheterization laboratory activities. Performs the duties and functions of cardiovascular technologist, invasive.
Principal Accountabilities
1. Assists Supervisor, Cardiac Catheterization Lab., with daily operational activities. Informs Supervisor of the daily section activities and problems, and recommends solutions to problems.
2. Assists with determination of training needs for Catheterization Laboratory staff. Guides and trains staff. Participates in orientation of newly-hired staff or CCL personnel.
3. Receives work assignments from Supervisor. Assigns technical staff and Ensures that work assignments are properly performed and completed.
4. Ensures that proper equipment, machines, or apparatus are available for daily activities of Cardiac Cath. Laboratory. Informs and advises Supervisor of the need for checking or repair of equipment, machines, or apparatus, and the level of supplies and materials.
5. Provides information to Supervisor for performance evaluation of Cardiac Cath. Laboratory staff. Assists in the implementation of quality assurance programs. Performs daily checks of patient records to ensure proper documentation, assessment and reference of data.
6. Assists in the development and implementation of Cardiac Cath. Laboratory standard Policies and procedures.
7. Performs duties of Invasive Sr. Cardiovascular Technologist.
8. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements
BS Degree (in health related field or Science)
WITH a Certificate in Invasive Cardiovascular from Regional or international Credential board.
LICENSE/REGISTRATION: Valid Primary License from the country of origin if applicable AND should be eligible for license in the Qatar within the Supreme Council of Health.
EXPERIENCE: 3 Years in invasive cardiovascular under Cath lab.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Fluent in English - Oral and Written.

3 Year contract (renewable)
Single and family contracts available.
Generous Tax free basic salary. Offered according to experience. From 8300 QAR up to 15375 QAR per month. 15375 QAR = +/- 56300 South-African Rand / 4200 USD/ 3800 EUR/ 3300 GBP.
Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary.
Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
40 days paid annual vacation days.
End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.
