Global Medical Recruiting currently recruiting international Medical Staff on behalf King Khalid Eye Specialist Hospital located in the northwestern suburbs of Riyadh,Saudi Arabia's lively capital city. King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital (KKESH) is a tertiary care ophthalmic facility operated by the Ministry of Health (MOH) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Applying nursing management theory and practice.Current development and latest update in the field of nursing including current complexities of health care field.
Nursing recruiting, selecting and staffing.Working knowledge of JCIA standards or equivalent international standards related to patient safety and infection control practices.

Assists Nursing Unit Managers to prepare objectives, operational plans and strategies for implementation. Coordinates budget planning, census projections and manpower planning for nursing services.
Directs management of nursing services through nursing unit and shift managers. Ensures the coordination of surgical services through continuous collaboration with the Assistant Director. Facilitates the employment, training and development of Saudi Nationals. Exercises prudent judgment in assigning resources and expenditures. Makes recommendations for capital equipment purchase. Coordinate the interview / selection process for nursing management positions. Reviews all nursing services applications. Continually evaluates nursing management and nursing administrative staff. Provides direction / support to Nursing Unit Managers in managing staff performance. Demonstrates equity and fairness in managing staff issues. Demonstrates effective priority setting, time management and decision making skills. Performs all duties in a professional, effective and confidential manner. Performs all other duties as required or assigned. Directs and monitors the standards and delivery of patient care across all nursing areas. Demonstrates current clinical knowledge and skills. Investigates areas of concern and make recommendations for improvement. Makes regular rounds of all nursing services areas. Implements management systems that promote decentralized decision making, supports professional development and effective communication. Uphold the standards of the International Council of Nurses - Code of Ethics. Participates in hospital-wide and nursing services performance improvement activities. Initiates performance improvement projects according to identified areas for improvement. Ensures policies, procedures and systems are in compliance with JCIA and the hospital performance improvement program. Promotes and initiates nursing research projects, data collection activities. Demonstrates understanding of environmental safety. Applies infection control standards in practice. Takes appropriate actions to ensure compliance with the Environment of Care (EOC) requirements. Monitors environmental safety for staff, patients and visitors on a continuous basis. Accepts accountability for decisions and actions. Maintains confidentiality of patients and hospital information. Functions as a role model to all levels of staff. Makes suggestions for change and process improvement. Demonstrates effective and efficient use of hospital equipment. Evaluates nursing practice and initiates change. Motivates staff through clear direction, positive interpersonal relationships and respect of staff.Deputizes for the Director, Nursing Services. Resolves conflict in a constructive manner. Takes responsibility for and completes assigned duties. Uses communication channels appropriately. Gives and receives feedback in a positive manner. Ensures resolution of conflicts between nursing management, physicians and the multi-disciplinary team. Ensures systems within nursing services support timely and accurate communication of information. Collects, analyses and reports data on a monthly basis. The Department of Ophthalmology offers tertiary ophthalmic services through its subspecialty divisions, which include Anterior Segment, Glaucoma, Vitreoretinal, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, Oculoplastics and Orbit, Neuro-ophthalmology, and Uveitis. These divisions are staffed by board-certified ophthalmologists who have graduated from accredited residency training programs and completed a minimum of one-year subspecialty fellowship training at KKESH. KKESH Medical Departments: The Departments of Medicine, Anesthesia and Pathology facilitate ophthalmic care by providing essential non-ophthalmic services. These departments are staffed by board-certified graduates of accredited residency and fellowship programs in their fields of specialization.The Medical Coordination and Eligibility Department reviews all referrals and identifies patients who meet the tertiary care guidelines for care at KKESH. Patients who meet the tertiary care guidelines for care at KKESH may also be accepted through the Screening Clinic or Emergency Room. Hospital Statistics: KKESH has more than 1,200 full-time employees, including over 200 nurses and 70 physicians. The physician roster includes 50 ophthalmologists, ten anesthesiologists, six adult internists, two pediatricians, one radiologist, and one pathologist. With the growth and expansion of the ambulatory surgical center, the number of inpatient beds at KKESH has been reduced from 263 to 228. In 2006, more than 10,000 patients were admitted for elective surgery, as well as emergency surgical and medical care.In 2006, 98,994 patient visits occurred in the outpatient department, 26,211 patient visits took place in the emergency room, and 10,625 surgical procedures were performed in the operating theatre.

KKESH offers Single Employment Contracts packages to international candidates. The initial employment contract is for ONE year but it is renewable). Salaries are Tax free and you will receive annual salary increases.
