Job description:
Responsible for the design and development of applications on the Android Platform.

        Developing applications on the Android Platform
        Developing integrations to legacy systems
        Understanding the business needs and requirements of our customers and convert it to an application
        Working with our designers to create beautiful looking applications
        Architect back-end services and databases to support apps
        Work with outside data sources and API's
        Troubleshoot, optimize and performance tune
        Innovate and brainstorm new features

Skills:

        A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
        3+ years Java development experience
        Strong object oriented programming and design skills
        1+ years experience in Application development on Android
        Published Android Applications on Android Market
        Android UI, Theming experience
        Experience creating custom UI elements, creating a right interactive UX on Android
        Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 & Javascript (jQuery) mobile web standards for both feature and smart phones
        Experience with HTTP/HTTPS, XML, JSON, Web Services via REST or SOAP
        Experience in user experience development for smart phones /tablets including scalable and localizable user interfaces
        1+ years of SQL experience
        Experience in working with Team Foundation Server, SVN, Git or Mercurial or any other version control system
        Thorough knowledge of using Eclipse IDE
        Able to work with data from outside API's
        Understanding of Multi-threaded interface design
        Understanding of key concepts of threaded development and the user /kernel mode interfaces
        Comfortable working in a Windows environment
        Experience working in an offshore environment
        You must be comfortable in a highly collaborative, consensus-oriented environment
        The ideal candidate will be creative, highly motivated, and able to operate effectively in multiple cultural contexts
        Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with product management and team members
        Should be self-driven and operate independently with less guidance
